Formed in early 2000, the Emily Shrine has certainly showed how quickly a band can undergo growth spurts. Beginning with three college friends who shared a common hometown, they began toiling away every night, trying to perfect the brilliant sound they happened upon. Things finally came together after several months as a three piece when they added their forth member, Andy - a mutual friend of theirs' from home.

The Emily Shrine's gorgeous, swooping guitar will overpower the most discerning listener. Shining vocals cut through a tidal wave of sound, to make an uncompromising balance that rings throughout the minds of listeners long after they've heard them.
